Much ado about very little, it turns out….

As the Democratic nomination battle drags out through even more extra innings, it’s interesting to watch all the states with later primaries enthuse about how they finally have a chance to make a difference in the nomination process…except that none of them actually have done.  The race is no more decided than it was two months ago.

Of course Michigan and Florida get the irony award:  they moved their primaries earlier with the specific intent of having more influence, at the cost of losing their nominating delegates, when just this once they might have had more impact if they’d left their primary date where it was.
